In his career, he has performed a range of romantic roles, and has also appeared in action thrillers. While still in his teens, he began to develop an interest in both acting and performing. In the later years, when he was a youngster, he attempted stand-up humor. He was unsuccessful in his comedy career however this set the path for his successful acting career. Unable to find success as a comedian he took up a job as a television cameraman in a cable station. Through working, he began to realise that he wanted to be in front of the camera. Then he landed a TV performance, and was in many episodes on Mister Rogers Neighborhood. His natural talent as an actor helped him become a household name on the world of television. Following the success of his movie career, his comedic performances brought him a lot of recognition. The Tim Burton film Batman in the film, he portrayed the role of Batman's superhero title. With time he matured as an actor, and began to work in direction and production. For his role in Birdman (2014), he won numerous awards and nominations.
